not the ACTUAL queries, just the 'waitfor delay that they run every 30 seconds. We've have never been able to properly filter the Change Data Capture-job related queries out of the event calendar - I can stop the jobs from being monitored but they still show up in Top SQL. I took a look again at SentryOne today for the first time in a while and recalled a few more issues that we have had. I haven't really trusted SentryOne for anything of importance since that. I wasn't all that thrilled to find such missing functionality, and the thought that I should submit a 'feature request' to have SentryOne actually support views (something I assume ANY database monitoring tool would support) seemed a bit much. It's entirely possible that the functionality has since been implemented/added, but at the time (in the midst of a database melt down) I was contacting support to ask why none of my views showed up in the performance advisor, specifically some views with some massive indexes on them that I knew were likely affecting performance. If you would like to fill out a feature request using the below link this maybe something we can add to a future build of SentryOne. With that said, we are always looking for items to add to the SentryOne Platform. without this baseline object in our tool/database, we cannot collect sub-objects (index on a view). The reason for this is we do not create an object for views. Thank you for you patience, we currently do not collect index information on views.
